Caul Red's was founded out of a little bit of boredom and a little bit of legacy. Owner Dee Caulfield comes from a long line of handymen, carpenters and woodworkers. so, when she decided she was done being a stay-at-home mom with four kids she looked for something to do that could accommodate her kid's schedules. She started doing odd jobs on Task Rabbit and fell in love with assembling furniture. That love grew to fixing things and has now grown to a full blown handy"man". Thankfully, her father left her with a solid education and every tool she could possibly need (and then some).
Dee's background is everything from hair stylist to horseback riding instructor. While she still maintains her passion for horses and teaching, she needed something with a little more flexibility as her and her husband's family grew by 2. Starting her own business just made sense.
While her two older children are in school full time, she usually has her younger two with her during jobs. Don't worry, she brings everything she needs to keep them entertained and safe. Also, If the job is by the hour, she deducts any time she has to stop for the kids.
Currently, Dee resides in Pawtucket Rhode Island with her husband Aaron, their four children, three dogs and cat.

What We Provide
Furniture Assembly
Expert furniture assembly for all your needs. Nothing is too big or small. I have assembled everything from end tables to outdoor gazebos. I take the time to follow the instructions and use the proper tools. I have seen a lot of "experts" using improper tools that end up damaging the furniture in the process, simply to get the job done faster. I would personally like to charge a lower hourly rate and take a little more time to make sure the furniture isn't damaged.
Mounting
Do you have art, mirrors or shelves just sitting around waiting to be put up, but your too afraid to do it yourself? Lack the proper tools and hardware? Don't know where to start. No problem. Rest assured Dee can handle it. There is nothing she hates more than under-utilized wall space! Anything from wire closet shelves to custom pantry builds, we have you covered!
Custom Work
Anything from pantry shelves to furniture fixes and alterations. If you can dream it, Dee can probably make it come true. In the off chance she can't, she will not accept the job. Customer satisfaction is her priority and she won't attempt anything out of her scope of ability. She can however, assist you in finding someone who can. Her father being in the industry so long has granted her access to some of the most qualified people to work with.
